Walk around Hydra

Nice meandering ramble today along the coastal cliffs and through a close by town and up over the hills through terraced fields that feed donkeys and horses who carry everything for most everyone.   A place out of balance with locals and tourists and expats....With water and weather and resources.   It seems to hang by the thread of the schools of fish and schools of tourists that they can use while they last.  Then tough it out all winter or leave.   I don't know where they go.  Maybe tomorrow I find that out.  The power comes by cable under the sea from Pelleponesos.   Precarious rock this car-less island.
