Prague has been no trouble but working this blog has been. The Prague Castle, largest castle in the world. ..is lit up like magic land by of all people. ..the Rolling Stones. Vaclav Havel. .. Czech playwright, just released from prison..1989.... asked the Stones to come help ring out communism and ring in freedom for the Czech Republic. They stood on a balcony we ate bread and goat cheese in front of today. The Czech people jingling key chains, chanting at the government, "It's time to go now!" It didn't become a Tian an men Square that happened just 6 months earlier. Back to Mick. As the Stones became lifelong friends with Havel, they returned to Prague many times. Mick thought the castle rather dreary at night and suggested lighting and when Havel said he had other things to think about. ... the Stones sent their lighting guy and $32,000 and lit up the castle like the good fairy might have.
